Sunshine and saguaros are iconic to Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix averages over 300 days of sunshine. Like sunshine, saguaro cactus are also plentiful.

I named this blog after a saguaro that lives on top of the mountain in front of our house. Every time we visited the sales office of our house as it was being built, I saw this saguaro. It looked like a friend that was welcoming us to our new home.

And so, it is now the namesake for this blog.

about me

  • I’m a mom of one – who has recently left the nest for Arizona State University (#forksup)
  • I’m married to the most patient man on earth (aka, The Mister).
  • Organizing is my super power…and cookies are my kryptonite.
  • I studied business and graphic design.
  • Italy is my favorite place to be when I’m not in Arizona.
  • I have owned a home staging and interior styling business and helped many people get their homes ready for selling or living.
  • When I was 5, I wanted to be a flight attendant and fashion designer. Neither of those panned out – but I do love to travel and design is my jam.
  • Between us, The Mister and I have moved six times and have built five homes.
